Yesterday, when we were exploring different neighborhoods in Halifax (where my son Aaron will be living as he goes for his PhD in mathematics), we found something for everyone.
.
This blog has something for everyone, including people who don’t like to clean.
Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “Halifax Fringe” …
… which has something for everyone.
Thanks to all who are reading this something-for-everyone post, including YOU!
Last night, when I couldn’t sleep, I tweeted something to see on Twitter and got this here information back:
There may be nothing to see there but there is something to see here, thanks to all the great experiences I’m having with my son Aaron and my sister-in-law Deborah in Nova Scotia.
See Aaron pose for his student ID card for Dalhousie University. See us on our first night in Halifax. See an interesting street sign in the North End of Halifax See various cat sighting throughout the day. See our first Poutine, which was vegan!See the wonderful hand-made Whim chocolates at Frabjous Delights, created by Inge, Marshall (not seen) and their son Christian, who recently moved here from Boston!See the directions on how to walk from our hotel to Dalhousie University, where Aaron will be starting a PhD program in mathematics next week. See the Public Gardens, which looked lovely even in the rain! See some posters that reminded us of the Edinburgh Fringe, which inspired me to discover that Halifax has a Fringe Festival at the end of summer, too!See one of the many signs that indicated to me that Halifax is a fine place for my son to be. See our first experiences of Dalhousie University and the mathematics department. See one of my favorite photos from that bunch. See another one. See a new way to describe a law office. See the best baklava I’ve ever had. See the question I asked last night on Twitter. See one of the great answers I got. See the World Observances and Daily Holidays for today, August 27, 2023.
.
There is always something to see here at the end of each blog post — gratitude for all my readers, including YOU!
Yesterday, on an Air Canada flight to Halifax, Nova Scotia, while looking at the airplane safety instructions, I asked several people, “What does this mean?”
My son Aaron, my sister-in-law Deborah, and I all tried to come up with possible answers to “What does this mean?” Luckily, whatever this means, we didn’t have to deal with it.
What does this mean that these are the rest of my images for today?
.
What does this mean that I’m writing this on Make Your Own Luck Day, Speak Kind Words Day, and Women’s Equality Day? And what does this mean that YouTube has this…
When I was recently discussing my goals and wishes with my “show biz” coach Jeff, we wondered whether I create songs and shows in order to be remembered.
I have no control over how I will be remembered and I choose to focus more on the the healing of the creative process — the here and now rather than the future.
Here are some images, in order, to be remembered.
In order to be remembered, the Daily Bitch often says what many people are thinking.
Here’s what I find when I search for “in order to be remembered” on YouTube:
.
And here’s an in-order-to-be-remembered song I heard last night from Cardiacs.
.
I think more about what I could do in order to be remembered before I’m about to fly, and today my son Aaron, my ex-sister-in law Deborah, and I are flying to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Hopefully, I’ll be sharing memorable images in order from there until I return home on September 2.
Thanks to all who helped me create this in-order-to-be-remembered post, including YOU!
My personal weather complaint is this: the forecasted rainfall is dampening my plans to walk with my son tomorrow morning to catch a ferry to Logan Airport. And now that I check the 10-day forecast for Halifax, Nova Scotia, there might be some weather complaints there, too.
Here are my images for Weather Complaint Day:
.
Now that I’ve celebrated Weather Complaint Day with you, I can celebrate International Strange Music Day by working on my strange Climate Change Song and another strange song I started writing yesterday — “I Don’t Wanna Be Late (I Don’t Wanna Be Early Either).”
Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “Weather Complaint Day.”
.
Thanks to all who help me weather whatever weather there is, whether or not I feel prepared, including YOU!
Yesterday, when I was talking to my “show biz” coach Jeff Leisawitz about creating an album of my songs I’d be proud of, he said, “the project itself is the healing.”
Creating things I’m proud of IS the healing, including this blog. Do you see the healing in today’s blogging project?
.
I’m going to hug my sweetheart today — another project that’s healing.
This is what I find on YouTube when I search for “the project itself is the healing.”
Do you know what moggies are? Spellcheck doesn’t and keeps wanting to change “moggies” to “doggies.”
Some people might say that moggies are the opposite of doggies.
Here’s another hint: Moggies show up in this bloggie all the time.
Do you see any moggies in today’s post?
.
My vision board would definitely have pictures of moggies. And I’m very grateful we don’t have to take our moggies to the vet today.
Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for moggies.
.
Because he didn’t actually answer the posed question “Why are cats called moggies?” here’s a definition.
Actually that doesn’t answer the question of why cats are called “moggies” either. While I look for that on the Internet, here’s another picture of our moggies.
Last night, one of our moggies made another spectacular leap off a piece of furniture, chasing our other moggie. One of these days, I’m going to capture a video of those moggies and their hilarious play and maybe, just maybe, finally go viral.
I can’t find an answer, here and now, as to why mixed breed cats are called moggies, but I swear that I read somewhere that it’s short for “mongrel.”
What are your thoughts and feelings about this “moggies” post?
Thanks to all the wonderful moggies and people in my life, including YOU.
