Day 5050: The Midterms

Exactly a week before the USA midterms, I gathered with like-minded people to share protest songs about injustice. As promised, here is my husband Michael’s valiant attempt to capture my performance with his phone.

.

I know we were all thinking about the midterms on Tuesday at that monthly protest music teach-out.

Can you tell that I am constantly thinking about the midterms in my other images for today?

.

I hope the midterms will help the USA grow out of this horribly awkward phase.

Thanks to all those who are here for this midterms post, including YOU!

Thank you. I admire you for standing up for what you believe in, and thinking of so many creative ways to influence others. I don’t get to vote in the US elections but can cheer you on from afar.

  3. Great show! I loved it. I can see why you were the big hit. As for the Midterms, I will be on my way to vote five days from now. In the meantime, as a Wisconsinite in my old age, I guess I am happy that Milwaukee won the World Series. Bushville Wins! I’ll take it as an omen.

  4. I’m also cautiously optimistic and glad you’re speaking out too. We need all the voices we can get to drown out the stupidity of Trump.
