Day 3886: The project itself is the healing

Yesterday, when I was talking to my “show biz” coach Jeff Leisawitz about creating an album of my songs I’d be proud of, he said, “the project itself is the healing.”

Creating things I’m proud of IS the healing, including this blog. Do you see the healing in today’s blogging project?

.

I’m going to hug my sweetheart today — another project that’s healing.

This is what I find on YouTube when I search for “the project itself is the healing.”

.

Dr. Peter Levine’s projects are the healing.

This gratitude project itself is the healing, so thanks to all who help me create this daily blog, including YOU.

Day 3882: Trying something new

To battle my perfectionism about singing, I’m trying something new: I’m going to deliberately miss notes when singing in front of my musical husband and son.

My son will be trying something new when he starts his PhD program in mathematics next month and we’ll both be trying something new when we travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia, next week to get him settled in his new residence.

There’s always a chance for trying something new.

.

Consider trying something new on Break the Monotony Day (and every other day)!

Here’s “trying something new” on YouTube:

.

Now I’m trying something new by typing a simple thanks to YOU.

Day 3880: Super powers

In yesterday’s Coping and Healing group, people were sharing what super powers they would choose, including reading people’s minds, flying, and healing the world. I chose to be Good Enough Girl, with the super powers to make people realize that they are good enough, here and now, exactly the way they are.

Do you see any super powers in my images for today?

I wish I had the super powers to make swing states turn blue.

Here’s what happens when I search YouTube for super powers:

.

Another one of my super powers is being Gratitude Gal, so thanks to all who are reading this Super Powers post, including YOU!
