It’s so interesting to me that the number for today’s blog is a countdown, as we are counting down the days to the most important election of our lifetimes.
Here’s how I’ve been occupying myself during this critical countdown.
.
During the countdown to Election Day, I’m glad to be sharing this amazing parody song by the Marsh Family:
.
4,3,2,1, thanks to YOU!
After I listened to Kamala Harris’s “closing arguments” speech last night and compared it to Donald Trump’s hate-filled rally on Sunday, I asked a question about love and hate on Twitter.
.
I love the answers I get on Twitter (and I hate the name “X”).
.
This morning, I googled “love and hate quotes” and this is the response I got:
.
I love/hate AI.
Do you love sharing my images with you every day.
.
Now we know about Zombie love.
Here’s what I find when I search for “love and hate” on YouTube:
.
Thanks to all who have dealt with love and hate, including YOU!
Today is International Internet Day, everybody!
As is typical of the Internet, some sites are calling this International Internal Day and others are calling it National Internet Day.
.
Whatever this day is called, I’m celebrating it. If it weren’t for the Internet, I couldn’t be connecting with you, here and now, with these words and images.
.
Today is also National Cat Day, so I’m sharing a favorite cat picture through the Internet.
.
Here’s something I find when I search for “International Internet Day” on the Internet:
.
Thanks to all the wonderful people I’ve met through the Internet, including YOU!
Hey, neighbors! Welcome to my neighborhoods.
.
I appreciate that Emily in my Twitter neighborhood let me know about Samuel J Comroe.
.
.
Thanks to all the wonderful people in my neighborhoods, including YOU
We are all making a difference, whether or not we know it.
I’m hoping that my fellow Americans will be making a difference for the good in November.
Do you see anyone making a difference in my images for today?
.
Michelle Obama is making a difference whenever she speaks.
.
Thanks to all who are making a difference, including YOU!
Yesterday, I wrote about statistician and poll gatherer Nate Silver’s gut reactions. Honestly, I’m much more interested in other people’s gut reactions.
What are your gut reactions to today’s blog post?
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “gut reactions” on YouTube:
.
My gut reactions to people like you always include gratitude, so many thanks!
I don’t understand many things, including why statistician Nate Silver from famed website FiveThirtyEight (and I don’t understand why it’s called that) felt the need to share that his “gut” tells him that Trump will win the election even though nobody should trust their gut.
I don’t understand so much about this election and I understand that I am not alone.
.
I don’t understand what a “Lemar” is. Oh! I don’t understand why lemur is misspelled in that list.
Here’s what I find when I search for “I don’t understand” on YouTube:
.
I don’t understand why I’ve never heard of Eric D’Alessandro before.
Thanks to him, to Thich Nhat Hanh, and to all who are here for this I-don’t-understand post, including YOU!
I’m counting down the days to the USA presidential election.

Counting down, there are 13 days until the USA election, and I am trying my best not to go crazy on this National Crazy Day

I hope this isn’t the final countdown.
Thanks to all who are counting down with me, including YOU!
When I post my views and my songs on social media, I never know how many views I’ll get.
Something I posted on Twitter yesterday has already gotten over 100K views and the views aren’t stopping. In your view, which post do you think it is?
Before I reveal which one has a viral-level of views, here are the other views for today’s blog:
.
My view is that you might get into trouble if you slap your irritating co-worker, even on National Slap Your Irritating Co-Worker Day.
Actually it was an irritating co-worker whose views inspired me to write my first original song. Here’s my recent performance of “I Don’t Like You” which has less than 100 views on YouTube.
.
I’m trying to figure out how to get more views for my music, but in the meantime, here is the tweet with an amazing number views:
.
Did you guess which one is generating the most views?
I look forward to your views about views in the comment section, below.
Thanks to all those whose views matter to me, including YOU!
Are you ready for an October Surprise of a blog post?
.
People seemed surprised that our New England weather is so warm near the end of October, although that doesn’t really surprise me. The weather may not be the kind of October surprise that influences the election, but it seems like nothing can influence the election at this point, which does surprise me.
Surprise! It’s time for my October surprise images.
.
Any surprises there?
Here’s what I find when I search for “October Surprise” on YouTube:
.
What’s your October surprise?
Thanks to all who are here for this October Surprise post, including YOU.
