I’m not psychic, but my prediction is that humans tend to make predictions, especially around the new year.
My prediction for 2026 is that Trump will say and do things that will cause more chaos and pain in this world. I would like to make the prediction that he will be stopped this year, but I feel less sure about that prediction.
You may have some predictions about the images I’m about to share.
My prediction is that I will not consume any alcohol but the Daily Bitch will.
My prediction is that the news will often worry me but that I will live my life anyway, including going back to work on Monday.
Another prediction is that my son Aaron will continue to share music I like, as he did last night.
Here’s what I find when I search for “predictions” on YouTube:
.
My prediction is that some of you will comment on this predictions post.
A safe prediction is that I will end these daily blog posts with thanks to YOU.
When I have a problem or question, I often wonder “who should I ask?” Who is likely to have the right answer? Who might help me quickly? Who won’t be bothered or annoyed by my need for answers?
Lately, the question has been “Who should I ask — a person or AI?”
This week , I’ve been asking ChatGPT questions, including unanswered ones I have about my long-time clicking/noises in my jaw/mouth when I speak.
Who should I ask about what they think about that and my images for today?
.
Who should I ask about diet and fitness: a human professional, the Noom app, or The Daily Bitch Calendar?
Here’s what I find when I search for “Who should I ask?” on YouTube.
.
Who should I ask for comments if not you?
Thanks to all who are here for this who-should-I-ask? post, including YOU!
I have no idea whether I’ve told this story before in my four thousand, five hundred, and twenty-four days of blogging.
When I was a social work intern working at a psychiatric hospital ward, a psychologist who specialized in group therapy had an interesting response whenever a patient there said “I have no idea.” He’d reply, “You must have some idea” and would wait for the patient to say more, which they always would.
I actually have some idea whether I’ve told that story before — I think I have, but it was a long time ago.
When I write that I have no idea how
The USA President got re-elected,
He gets to act the way he’s acting in office,
We are going to get out of this mess,
People think violence solves anything, and
My readers are going to react to the very few images I have to share today,
I must have some idea.
.
I have no idea what Bitcoin Pizza Day is and I’d like to leave it that way.
Here’s the first thing I find when I search for “I have no idea” on YouTube.
.
I have no idea how to get that many views on YouTube.
I have no idea how to comment about today’s headlines:
.
We all must have some idea that it’s a dangerous time and my heart-felt thanks to everyone who is here with me now, including YOU. 💔💙💕
Thanks to my friend Debbie (who sent me the cat texts cartoon), cats, my husband Michael for the delicious salad (I gained a lot of weight in Italy!), my friends on Twitter, everybody who is huggable, Bruno Mars, and — of course! — YOU.
This is the usual meaning of “no news is good news”:
.
There’s no lack of news these days and it occurs to me that “no news is good news” could also mean that no good news can be found.
What news be found in my images for today?
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “no news is good news” on YouTube:
.
Thanks to Pops Staples, Siskel & Ebert, Erasmus, William Carlos Williams, my friends on Twitter, cool cats everywhere, the Daily Bitch, my husband for his amazing culinary creations, and people whose presence is always good news, including YOU!
I don’t watch horror movies because there is enough horror we have to deal with in real life.
Many people I know are avoiding the news because of their horror of what is happening in USA politics.
.
Horror is also on my mind today because of the Daily Bitch Calendar.
.
I ‘m sure that Kansas City fans had looks of horror on their faces when they were watching last night’s Super Bowl.
Because I have a horror of falling on ice, I’m going to wear these on my boots today:
.
Let’s see if there’s any horror in the rest of my images for today.
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “horror”on YouTube:
.
Now I understand much better why so many people like horror movies. I do have a horror of how people in power can exploit fears to divide and control people.
Thanks to all those who help me deal with horror every day, including YOU!
As I discussed with my like-minded in-laws yesterday during Thanksgiving get-togethers, I really hope the future turns out better than expected. It very well might, because our expectations are very low right now.
As my husband Michael says, “It’s never what you expect,” so why not focus on the things that turn out better than expected instead of the negative? For example, our adopted cat Joan, who had unexpected medical issues which resisted treatment for many months, turned out better than expected. My health also turned out better than expected: despite being born with a rare and serious heart problem, I’m still working full-time and loving my work at age 71!
Do you see anything that’s better than expected in my images for today?
.
Because the USA election did not turn out better than expected, I’ve also been talking a lot of shit and crying. Yesterday morning, I cried when I watched the Muppet Movie and the evil, greedy oil billionaire villain almost won. I really don’t understand how people can recognize villains in movies but not in real life.
Here’s what I find when I look for “better than expected” on YouTube.
.
That video was even better than I expected and I hope that you watch it.
Thanks to all who are here for this better-than-expected post, including YOU!
I’m going to back to work on the last day of Someday We’ll Laugh About This Week. Despite the awful global news, the scary national news, and the concerning local news (which includes the aftermath of a storm here), I’m deciding not to wait and to start laughing now.
During Someday We’ll Laugh About This Week, I’m laughing about not being able to celebrate Bubble Bath Day because we have no hot water.
Yesterday, during Someday We’ll Laugh About This Week, my ex-husband Leon shared this video with me and our son Aaron:

Thanks to all who are here, now, for Someday We’ll Laugh About This Week, including YOU!
