Because we love this place, I’m sharing this photo I took in the gift shop of Barcelona’s Sagrada Família.

Because we love this place, many of us hope that Earth Day 2026 will remind people to take good care of our home.
Because we love this place of blogging, I am going to share many images of places I love today.
Because we love this place, Jeanette, Ray, and I are loving the bells in the Passion Tower of Sagrada Família. Because we love this place we’re staying, here’s a picture and audio of the wild parrots living outside!
It’s interesting how helpful these daily blog posts are for me (no matter how interesting they are for others).
It’s interesting that this blogging site thinks I’ve posted 666 days in a row …
… when it’s actually been 4,791 days in a row.
Yesterday, I went to see yet another interesting expert about the interesting clicking noises I hear in my head when I speak or sing. This doctor and his interested entourage put an interesting little microphone and camera though my nostril so they could observe what interesting things my upper palate did when I speak. When the doctor, who had an interesting way of dealing with patients, asked me to keep talking, I recited the words to my original song “Everybody’s Somebody’s Asshole.”
.
It’s interesting that — because of the inserted microphone — somebody else could hear the noises for the first time since they appeared 30 months ago (but who’s counting?).
It’s interesting how reassuring that was.
When the interesting doctor told me that my situation was atypical and unusual, I took a breath and said, “Since I’ve been born, I’ve been dealing with the rarest congenital heart condition and other atypical and unusual issues, and I’m kind of sick of being …”
“Interesting?” said the doctor.
It’s interesting that there continues to be no obvious way forward to treat these noises, but we’re going to try a Botox injection next month. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
Because I’m a psychotherapist, I bear witness to people’s memories. Because I specialize in group therapy, I witness people making new memories as they join in community with each other.
Because I’m a blogger, I share daily memories with you.

Here are some of the favorite memories I named above:

In yesterday’s blog post, I shared that I was giving up negative self talk for the month of January.
In yesterday’s Coping and Healing group, we talked about negative self talk. The group members wrote down familiar negative self talk and shared theirs with the rest of the group. Most of us tore up the paper with our negative self talk and threw the pieces away.
My negative self talk included:
You’re too selfish.
You don’t do enough.
You’re too old.
You make too many mistakes.
You’re stupid.
It felt good to share that negative self talk, rip the paper into tiny pieces and throw it all away.
My good son Aaron told me yesterday that he is learning the language Toki Pona, which means “language of good.”
.
In Toki Pona, “pona” means good and I hope you see pona in my images for today.
I’m working on a good cover for the AI version of my good song “Everybody’s Somebody’s Asshole.”My good son with my good husband. Doesn’t this look good? This is Miriam, our very good server at Bar ‘Cino, who also plays “keys”!My good relative Deborah recommended this good book. More good food, at Le Madeline.
.
Here’s a good video about the good language my good son is learning.

Yesterday, what made me feel old was running into a young ex-co-worker and musician who is in my karass.
Actually, that didn’t make me feel old. That made me feel wonderful. What made me feel old was that he talked to me about using artificial intelligence in producing music and then quickly sent me this version of one of my songs last night.
.
What also makes me feel old is how many assholes are in charge these days and how many good people are dying.
That’s why I asked this question on social media last night.
.
Do my other images make you feel old?
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “what makes you feel old?” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who make me feel better (no matter how old I feel), including YOU!
