Day 4315: I don’t understand

I don’t understand many things, including why statistician Nate Silver from famed website FiveThirtyEight (and I don’t understand why it’s called that) felt the need to share that his “gut” tells him that Trump will win the election even though nobody should trust their gut.

I don’t understand so much about this election and I understand that I am not alone.

.

I don’t understand what a “Lemar” is. Oh! I don’t understand why lemur is misspelled in that list.

Here’s what I find when I search for “I don’t understand” on YouTube:

.

I don’t understand why I’ve never heard of Eric D’Alessandro before.

Thanks to him, to Thich Nhat Hanh, and to all who are here for this I-don’t-understand post, including YOU!

  1. lol that comedy sketch was hilarious!

  2. According to your song, everybody IS somebody’s asshole, but I would posit that we’ve never seen assholery like this. So in order to understand this phenomenon, I posit that the people supporting TFG are, actually, according anybody’s standards, assholes, and that they recognize TFG as a fellow asshole, whom they intuitively trust and understand. They all live in asshole nation, governed by the Asshole in Chief, and they would like the rest of us to have that too, since they have been forced so often to live according to the standards of the Not Entirely Assholes that have come before.

  3. I don’t understand why your songs don’t get more attention. And why of all characters today is Chucky Day or why it’s shared with Frankenstein. But killer dolls always remind me of the time I was talking to a friend on the phone. His sister had gotten this really creepy doll and he left the room to get away from it. As he walked through the house he found it in another room.
It took him a while to understand that his sister got two.
