Day 4317: Making a difference

We are all making a difference, whether or not we know it.

I’m hoping that my fellow Americans will be making a difference for the good in November.

Do you see anyone making a difference in my images for today?

.

Michelle Obama is making a difference whenever she speaks.

.

Thanks to all who are making a difference, including YOU!

  1. Michelle Obama is so inspiring!

  2. I’ve been a little unhappy that my car is filled with all the necessaries for tabling (think of me as the group pack horse, I told our “leader”), but nothing certain seemed to be happening. But now we have a definite time and place to be, Monday at 3. And I hope we can do it on Tuesday as well. Wednesday it’s supposed to rain, but the days thereafter are all possible for me. We are a. encouraging voting no matter what and b. encouraging voting for our candidates and “no” on a certain referendum. As the recently late Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead might put it, such a long, long time to be gone and a short time to be there.

    • Thanks for all the wonderful ways you make a difference, Barbara.

      • Well, it would help if I paid more attention. Turns out that while driving around placing VOTE signs, my partner pulled down her sunshield – very bright sun – and I took note, because when that shield is down, it thinks you’re going to put on makeup or fix your hair and a little vanity light turns on – which note I promptly forgot when I reached home, and therefore did not put the shield back up turning the light off where it sat burning dimly all weekend until when I went out on Monday, all ready to do my duty, and the car was dead as a doornail. If I’d stop shooting myself in the foot, I’d be awesome!

      • You are already awesome!

  3. I believe Sylvia Plath made a difference in understanding the rights of women and also the importance of mental health. She left so many poems unpublished but that’s only a small part of her legacy.

  4. I think that every person makes a difference though they often have no idea about the impact they’ve actually had

  5. Your cousin was one of the sharks!!! Wow!!

  6. Some great stuff here, Ann! Thank you.
