It’s the day when I set off for my adventure in Switzerland by myself.

It’s a day when I connect with wonderful people in real life and online.

It’s Slinky Day!

.

It’s a day when I say goodbye to Michael and the cats.

It’s a day when I share images like these with you.

Here’s what I find when I search for “what day is it?” on YouTube.

Day 4975: Memorable

I have no idea whether these blog posts are memorable. But I can ask this question: what is most memorable about my blog post for today?

.

When I searched YouTube for “memorable” I didn’t find any videos I wanted to share. So I narrowed the search to “memorable cats.”

.

Well, I think that’s a memorable video and it’s MY blog, people.

Thanks to all who are here for this “memorable” post, including YOU!

Day 4884: Homes

Yesterday, I spent the morning touring two incredible homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for two married couples in Manchester, New Hampshire. Then, before returning to my own home, I explored the wonderful Currier Museum, which owns those two homes.

Lots of homes to look at today!

A good definition of home.
Dr. Isadore Zimmerman and Lucille Zimmerman were both musicians and played concerts in their home.

The Zimmermans are buried on the grounds of their beloved home.
Dr. Toufic Kalil and Mildred Kalil were friends of the Zimmermans and asked Frank Lloyd Wright to design them a home nearby.

I made myself at home at the Currier Museum.
Ken — who made me feel at home — with his rubber duck collection.
Ken’s late wife, who was a nurse, was a Wonder Woman.
One of Ken’s creations.
Cats always help me feel at home.
Joan seems to feel at home everywhere.
We always feel at home at Comfort Kitchen.

Here’s what I find when I search for “homes” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who are here for this post about homes, including YOU.

Day 4856: Where would you go?

If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

Today, I’m going to Logan Airport to fly to Barcelona with friends. I hope you’ll go there with me via this blog.

While you’re thinking about where you would go, here are my images for today.

Yesterday I went to Rubato and reconnected with Top Chef contestant Laurence Louie!

.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I go there to search for “where would you go?”

.

Thanks to all who go where they would go, including YOU!

Day 4807: Self soothing

Because I want to do no harm to myself and others, I practice self soothing every day.

Do you see self soothing in this blog post’s images?

.

My self-soothing includes staying in the moment and writing songs like this one:

Day 4786: That’s Cold

“That’s cold” can mean different things.

.

However, I think we can agree on this:

That’s cold.

Do you see anything that’s cold in my other images for today?

I lost this earring yesterday when we went out in the cold to get a delicious meal.
The seasonal salad at Comfort Kitchen. That’s cold.

.

I thought “that’s cold” when I was listening to “Now You Know” from Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along yesterday.

.

Thanks to everyone who is here for this “that’s cold” post, including YOU!

Day 4772: The USA

The USA is becoming more dangerous for more people, every day.

.

Last night I asked a question about what to do about the USA.

.

Let us bear witness to the horrific shooting of ICU nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, USA — and the despicable response from the USA government — with the official statement from his family.

.

I captured these images in the USA yesterday before looking at the awful news.

.

On Opposite Day, I wish the USA government would do the opposite of what they’re doing now. In the meantime, we in the USA and around the world need to oppose them.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “the USA” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who help me deal with living in the USA, including YOU.

Day 4744: Foofaraw

Because of my history of needing hospitalizations for heart issues just when I started feeling confident and positive about myself at an early age, I unconsciously expect disaster to happen if I am feeling very happy and secure. This relates to the word of the day: “foofaraw.”

.

After spending a fabulous day yesterday with my son (who is visiting from graduate school) and my husband, I do not want to make a foofaraw about a minor medical issue I am experiencing today.

Also, I talked to my son yesterday about my music and how I avoid adding foofaraw when I’m recording my original songs.

Without any foofaraw, here are my images for today.

I don’t want to make a foofaraw about the fact that they’ve changed the eggplant fries at the Deluxe Town Diner.
This is a new dish at the diner that I love!
Without any foofaraw, Aaron and I got new shoes yesterday at the Shoe Barn in Newton.
Here are my husband Michael and son Aaron, without foofaraw.
We got plantain chips on the house at Comfort Kitchen!
No foofaraw in this delicious seasonal salad.
The fish curry.
My favorite dessert at Comfort Kitchen.
Tiramisu!

.

Do you think there’s any foofaraw in my Holiday Song?

.

Thanks to all who are here for my daily foofaraws, including YOU!!
