Day 4883: A Cat Can Look At A King

“A cat can look at a king” is a phrase I’ve been looking at for decades.

We can look at these online definitions.

.

I often think of “a cat can look at a king” when I look at (1) people who are “above” me and (2) cats.

A cat can look at a king and I can appear on a show of musicians singing protest songs.

Anyone can look at my images for today.

.

A cat can look at a king, a shoelace, and whatever else it wants to look at.

This cat can look at YouTube for “a cat can look at a king.”

.

A cat can look at a king and I can look at Frank Lloyd Wright homes in New Hampshire later this morning.

.

I can look at comments and I hope I find some, below.

Thanks to all the cats who can look at this blog, including YOU!

Day 4699: Intention

My intention was to share the video about intentions I was listening to last night, but I can’t find it now.

While listening to that video, my intention was to fall asleep. When I woke up in the middle of the night, my intention was to get back to sleep, listening to words about intention.

My intention now is to tell you what I remember about that video that helped me feel better:

If my intention comes from a place of anger, confusion, or grasping, that will not help.

If my intention comes from a place of loving-kindness, clarity, and acceptance, that will help.

My intention now is to share my images for the day and get to work on time.

.

I think we understand the Daily Bitch’s intention.

Here’s what I find when I search for “intention” on YouTube:

.

My intention, here and now, is to express my gratitude for YOU!

Day 4389: Appearances

Self esteem is very often connected to appearances.

Through my appearances in therapy groups, I encourage people to disconnect their sense of self worth from their appearances, practicing unconditional self love NOW.

From all appearances, that is very difficult to do in a culture so obsessed with appearances.

What do you notice about appearances in my images appearing here today?

.

Here’s what appears when I search for “appearances” on YouTube:

.

That reminds me of my aunt suggesting I get a nose job when I was young and other thoughts and feelings I’ve had about my various appearances at different ages. I appreciate YiWen Fan’s conclusions about appearances, including letting go of comparisons.

Thanks to all who are making appearances here, now, including YOU!

Day 4057: Does anybody care?

Does anybody care that I asked a question yesterday that several people interpreted differently?

Does anybody care that I was trying to make a point about ageism? Does anybody care about my other images here, now?

.

Does anybody care about how I arrange the images in these blog posts?

Does anybody care about what I’ll find on YouTube when I search for “does anybody care?”

.

Thanks to anybody who cares, including YOU!

Day 3867: Why?

Why is the title of today’s blog post “Why?”

In therapy, people often ask “Why?” Why did this happen to me? Why does this person act this way? Why do bad things happen when I start feeling better?

I also ask “Why?” Why do wonderful people have so much trouble accepting compliments? Why do so many people keep supporting Donald Trump (aka “The Former Guy” or “TFG”)? Why do narcissistic billionaires control so many resources? And, most recently, why is my BNP (often a measurement of heart failure) so friggin’ high?

Many of those questions are unanswerable. I’m hoping for an answer to my last question when I get an echocardiogram later today at the hospital.

Why am I sharing these images?

.

Why is there a Braham Pie Day when I don’t even know what that is? And why did I read it as Graham Pie Day at first when I don’t even know what that is, either?

Why do I assume I’ll find something worth sharing when I search YouTube for “Why?”

.

Why do I end every blog post the same way? Because I’m always grateful to you.

Day 3694: Adiaphorous

Have you ever heard the word “adiaphorous” before? I hadn’t, until I got this in an email yesterday:

.

I’m going to try to remember and use the word “adiaphorous” because the human mind naturally thinks of things as being either harmful or beneficial, and focusing on the adiaphorous might be a way to live non-judgmentally.

If I can’t remember to use the word “adiaphorous,” that’s adiaphorous.

Do you see anything that’s adiaphorous in my images for today?

.

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “adiaphorous.”

.

Thanks to all who helped me create this adiaphorous post, including YOU!
