Day 4699: Intention

My intention was to share the video about intentions I was listening to last night, but I can’t find it now.

While listening to that video, my intention was to fall asleep. When I woke up in the middle of the night, my intention was to get back to sleep, listening to words about intention.

My intention now is to tell you what I remember about that video that helped me feel better:

If my intention comes from a place of anger, confusion, or grasping, that will not help.

If my intention comes from a place of loving-kindness, clarity, and acceptance, that will help.

My intention now is to share my images for the day and get to work on time.

I think we understand the Daily Bitch’s intention.

Here’s what I find when I search for “intention” on YouTube:

.

My intention, here and now, is to express my gratitude for YOU!

I hope you don’t mind, but I stole one of your images to store in a file I use for desktop backgrounds. My intention is to use it through the rest of November. Great November pics!

Oops. Don’t know how to add image (seems I’ve done one before, though). Anyway, I think it’s the 9th one after the food. Tree with a few leaves hanging over a reed bed and a little inlet. It’s yours, so I will never use it for anything else except with permission.

  3. I always love your photos of water and the ones that you attach today are extra beautiful because of the lighting and the interesting Autumn colors. Thank you.

  4. I’m intrigued that today is, among other things, “Indian Pudding Day”. When I was young I read the original novel of Pinocchio. Gepetto had a cheap yellow wig and children made fun of him by calling him “Polendina”, after a “pudding made from Indian corn”. It was only a few years ago that I realized that was polenta.

  5. powerful Anne! Great ted talk you shared here too! Xx

  6. I’ve come to appreciate your good intentions over the years, Ann.
