Day 4914: Wish Fulfillment

In my therapy groups, we sometimes discuss wish fulfillment by using magic wands.

I’ve heard the saying “be careful what you wish for” but I think it helps to encourage wish fulfillment.

Now, I wish to share that today is Wish Fulfillment Day!

Day 4549: Helpful phrases

In therapy, I often encourage people to write helpful phrases on post-it notes that they can easily see.

Yesterday, on my walk, I saw several helpful phrases.

Yesterday, I also added helpful phrases (I hope!) to my latest song “What’s Wrong With Looking Older?” to complete the lyrics.

Any helpful phrases about the rest of my images for today?

I wonder if people will find helpful phrases in my song “Catastrophizing,” which I’ll be sharing at an Open Mic tonight.

Day 4184: Community Standards

Yesterday, after 10 years of my publishing this daily blog on my Facebook page, Facebook deleted my post about resentment and sent me a message about how it went against their “community standards.”

Letting go of resentment about Facebook’s capriciously punitive community standards (which I appealed), I turned my attention to the very different community standards of Cambridge’s Central Square.

As you can see, the community standards of Central Square include amazing murals.

This mural’s artist, Curtis a/k/a Curtistic, proudly identified himself and told me it was his birthday!

I appreciate the community standards in several of today’s holidays, including Family Awareness Day. On this Wish Fulfillment Day, my wish is that this post will not violate Facebook’s community standards, but my suspicion is that it will.

Day 3818: Therapy

Before I begin another day providing individual and group therapy for people dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, I appreciate the therapy of creating and sharing a blog post with you.
