When I used the word “outlandish” last night, some people seemed to assume a negative connotation for that word.
Maybe this is outlandish, but I don’t think that being outlandish is negative, just remarkable. Although I’m sure that outlandish behavior can be both good and bad.
Do you see anything outlandish in my images for today?
.
Here’s my most outlandish original song and I still haven’t figured out how to release it:
.
I have outlandish gratitude for all who here for my outlandish posts, including YOU!
I haven’t figured out how to modulate that tune so that it’s ready for release on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. But I know that it might be the most memorable part of my live performances.
Today, I’ll be going for a modulation of my haircut and a major modulation in my music-production process.
.
Thanks to all who are here for this modulation blog post, including YOU!
I don’t want to make excuses for having mixed feelings about excuses.
When I saw today’s Daily Bitch calendar…
.
… I knew I wanted to ask a question on social media about excuses.
.
I’m not going to make excuses for including so many responses about excuses because I love other people’s perspectives and ingenuity.
Here are some quotes about excuses:
.
Now I don’t need to any excuses to link to yesterday’s post about Make Your Own Luck Day.
My excuses for not promoting my new album more aggressively are (1) I don’t like bothering people and (2) I need a break!
Do you see any excuses in my other images for today?
.
On Just Because Day, “just because” seems like a fine excuse.
My excuses for not including “I Don’t Wanna Be Late (Don’t Wanna Be Early Either)” on my new album were (1) it was too long and (2) it needed the video context of the live concert to work. Also, a musician I know walked out on me when I was rehearsing it with him. What do you think about those excuses?

You don’t need to make excuses about leaving a comment, below.
Thanks to all who are here for my excuses, including YOU!
At this point, when it comes to music, I am an amateur.
.
When I performed three concerts of my original songs at last year, I did charge an admission fee, but all the proceeds went to charities, which I think preserved my amateur status.
If my live album, which will be released on August 22, generates any revenue, I guess I’ll change from amateur to a professional.
After the unbalanced election results in the USA, many of us are trying to regain our balance.
Personally, I’m trying to balance self care with caring for others, connections to the world with internal calm, not giving a f*ck with staying committed, acceptance with resistance, and hope with realism.
Yesterday, at work, I saw this sign about balance.

Do you see balance in my other images for today?

On Have a Bad Day Day, I’m going to try to balance having a bad day with having a good day.
Last night at an in-person Open Mic, I used the term “emotional intelligence” in my introduction, which might have gotten as much applause as my original song did.
.
At least I had the emotional intelligence to end that song earlier than I originally had planned.
Do you see emotional intelligence in my images for today?
.
Observing National Forgiveness Day requires emotional intelligence, but what about Frappes?
Here’s what I find when I search for “emotional intelligence” on YouTube.
.
Thanks to all my readers who have emotional intelligence, including YOU!
Yesterday, I decided I had done enough work on my song “I Don’t Wanna Be Late (Don’t Wanna Be Early Either”” to post a very long (13 minutes!) version on YouTube.
.
I honestly don’t know if anybody has enough time to listen to that whole thing.
And, apparently I haven’t written enough verses, because I just wrote this one:
