After the unbalanced election results in the USA, many of us are trying to regain our balance.
Personally, I’m trying to balance self care with caring for others, connections to the world with internal calm, not giving a f*ck with staying committed, acceptance with resistance, and hope with realism.
Yesterday, at work, I saw this sign about balance.

.
Do you see balance in my other images for today?

.
On Have a Bad Day Day, I’m going to try to balance having a bad day with having a good day.
My song I Don’t Wanna Be Late (Don’t Wanna Be Early Either) is, on balance, about trying to find balance.

Thanks to all who help me find balance in this unbalanced world, including YOU!

Bobby Duthu (sorry about spelling): Some time ago I figured out that many of the people emigrating from Europe to America were lower class citizens in the lands of their birth. But upon moving here, they discovered that they were one rung up. We had a ready-make lower class of people over whom they could lord at will. They may have been spics, beaners and fenies, but they were never and could never be n*****s.
Reading things that make me happy is helping me maintain my balance. I just read a PG Wodehouse story and this line made me laugh out loud: “He got up, and would have towered above the Bloke, only it so happened that the latter was about six inches taller.”
But I also thought, no AI would come up with a line like that. Maybe one would offer a copy of Wodehouse but it wouldn’t spontaneously write anything close to that.
That is delightful
You help me maintain my balance, Chris.
