Last night at an in-person Open Mic, I used the term “emotional intelligence” in my introduction, which might have gotten as much applause as my original song did.
.
At least I had the emotional intelligence to end that song earlier than I originally had planned.
Do you see emotional intelligence in my images for today?

.
Observing National Forgiveness Day requires emotional intelligence, but what about Frappes?
Here’s what I find when I search for “emotional intelligence” on YouTube.
.
Thanks to all my readers who have emotional intelligence, including YOU!

Annie, you get to the check out, the attendant smiles, I hear you have a voice, go back and get well, time to use it, the lady starts doing late night karaoke, with a backing band, just believe it, amen.
Thanks for your emotional intelligence!
annie, hope the weather is shining on you, happy healthy, amen
may the next president have the patience button in them, before saying too much, cheers may the health recover, cheers
sounds like you were a hit, and that is a sign of the audience’s emotional intelligence
I always appreciate your emotional intelligence, beth!
I think if I ran a Bed and Breakfast, Ann, I would be waffling in a mascot choice between a fluffy pillow or pancake.
And, hey, congrats on getting back to an in-person open mike!
Thanks for your emotion and your intelligence, my friend!
I loved Mad Libs when I was a kid and the chance to write original verses of your song seems like an improvement on an old favorite.
I loved Mad Libs too and I think that shows our emotional intelligence, Chris!
I don’t wanna be young… there’s no crime in being “old” – as long as you can keep thinking young… and you seem to do that so well! Your song was such fun! The audience obviously appreciated it. I don’t wanna be weak. What’s so bad about being weak? You tell me…
I don’t wanna be weak. Don’t wanna be strong either. I guess I’m not unique if I’m trying too hard to be neither. What’s so bad about being weak? We’re all vulnerable and no one’s always at their peak. What’s the crime in being strong? Rejoice in your strength as you move along.
Good point! Yes, we’re all vulnerable. Learning to lean on others when necessary is crucial to survival. And just keep on movin’ along. Thanks, Ann!
It’s so delightful to hear you performing live again! You’re amazing to me in your ability to balance so much. ❤️Emotional Intelligence doesn’t get nearly enough attention in the broader social consideration and I think we need to place a far higher priority on its value. 😉
It’s so delightful how supportive you are, Debra. I am always grateful for you. 💕💕
Exactly what am looking for.
