Day 4581: Completely predictable

It’s completely predictable that

  • I publish a blog post everyday,
  • people will be themselves,
  • greed and fear are powerful forces,
  • malignant narcissists will cause chaos and suffering,
  • many vote against their own interests,
  • brave people speak up against injustice,
  • predictions often don’t come true, and
  • there will be images in this post.

.

.

Is it completely predictable that I would share this today?

.

Maybe the cancellation was completely predictable after Monday’s monologue.

.

It’s completely predictable that I would end this post by expressing complete gratitude to Stephen Colbert and to YOU!

Day 3849: National Get Out of the Dog House Day

I noticing, here and now, that today is National Get Out of the Dog House Day. Here’s a description of that day I found online:

.

I try to let go of grudges every day, because life is too short to be upset and mad at people.

Just last night I said to my husband Michael (who is never in the dog house), “I don’t think cats hold grudges, no matter what people say.” I’m glad our cats don’t put us in the dog house.

I hope my other images for today don’t put me in the dog house with you.

.

Because it’s also World Emoji Day, here’s my attempt to nonverbally communicate the importance of National Get Out of the Dog House Day: 🇺🇸🐶🏡👋💙

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “National Get Out of the Dog House Day.”

.

Thanks to all who haven’t put me in the dog house, including YOU!

Day 3120: What day is it?

Many people tell me they have trouble keeping track of what day it is, especially since March 2020.

I hope this helps:

Today is also the first anniversary of American Statesman and Civil Rights Activist John Lewis’s death. And it’s the birthday of Angela Merkle, Phoebe Snow, Peter Schickele, etc.

July 17, 2021 is also just another day when I share new images with you.

How are you going to celebrate July 17, 2021?

I’m going to share this song that always cheers me up, no matter what day it is.

Thanks to all who are sharing this day with me, including YOU.
