Day 4920: Recognition

What does recognition mean to you?

Here’s a definition of recognition:

.

Here’s my recognition of what other people have said about recognition.

.

I wonder if we have the simultaneous recognition that the Cartier-Bresson quote is a good segue to the rest of my images for today.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for recognition on YouTube.

.

Now it’s time for recognition of how important you are to me.

Day 4555: What a mess!

After the U.S. President bombed Iran last night without congressional approval, the title of today’s blog post has to be “What a mess!”

What a mess of images I have to share with you today.

.

On the aptly named Stupid Guy Thing Day, what a mess!

Instead of just repeating “what a mess!” here is a live performance of my song “It’s Hard to Get Shit Done When You’re Scared Shitless .”

.

Thanks to all who are here for this what-a-mess! blog post, including YOU.

Day 3825: What captures our attention

People who want to sell us something spend a lot of time and money trying to figure out what captures our attention.

Based on the latest news story that captured our attention (the missing submersible Titan), what captures our attention includes:

  • danger,
  • hope,
  • novelty,
  • money,
  • adventure,
  • mystery,
  • controversy,
  • hubris,
  • mistakes,
  • strong emotion, and
  • lack of closure.

Now that the story has ended, tragically, I assume that something else will capture our attention.

What captures your attention in my images for today?

.

Here’s what I find when I search for what captures our attention on YouTube.

.

What captures my attention includes you and your comments. Many thanks for your attention, here and now.
