Day 4855: life goes on in spite of the idiots

‘life goes on in spite of the idiots’ was wonderful blogger beth’s response to yesterday’s blog post’s question “What is the title of this post?”

.

Do you see evidence in today’s images that life goes on in spite of the idiots?

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “life goes on in spite of the idiots” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to beth, Sadhguru, my friends on Twitter, and everyone else (including YOU!) who help me remember that life goes on in spite of the idiots.

Day 4792: Confused

Because I believe that most human beings have empathy and compassion, I get confused when I see deliberate cruelty.

I am most confused when I listen to the news and least confused when I facilitate my Coping and Healing groups.

I wonder if anyone will be confused by my images for today.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “confused” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who are here for my confused blog posts, including YOU!

Day 3976: Other people’s anger

I’ve been writing a new song called “Other People’s Anger.”

©️ Ann Koplow, 2023

At the risk of triggering other people’s anger, what do you think of those lyrics?

Can you see other people’s anger in any of my images for today?

Other people’s anger might bother me, but not the Daily Bitch’s.

Here’s what I find when I search for “other people’s anger” on YouTube.

.

Other people’s anger isn’t bothering me so much now.

Thanks to all who help me deal with other people’s anger, including YOU!

Day 3345: What are the qualities of a good leader?

Last night, as I was thinking about leaders and leadership, I asked this question on Twitter.

I received many good answers, and a leading candidate for a good leader was this man:

My short list of qualities that make a good leader are passion, compassion, integrity, bravery, honesty, flexibility, clarity, and communication.

Do you see any of the qualities of a good leader in my images for today?

.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “what are the qualities of a good leader?”

I also find this:

What do you think are the qualities of a good leader?

I think the qualities of a good blogger include expressing gratitude to all their readers, including YOU.

Day 3028: Be fearless

It might seem fearless or even foolish of me to tell you to be fearless during these extremely fearful times, but I’m just passing on the advice of last night’s Yogi tea.

Let’s be fearless together and look at my other images for the day, all provided at the right time.

Here’s “How to be Fearless” by Smarter by the Day:

According to that video, we can become fearless by continually asking ourselves this question: Will this action improve the well-being of myself and those around me?

Considering that, I press the publish button with fearless gratitude.
