Day 3844: Busy

I’ve been busy

  • working full time as a psychotherapist,
  • offering groups to patients and providers at a Boston hospital,
  • starting a book on psychotherapy with my friend Megan,
  • writing an article about a group for a newsletter,
  • pursuing my show biz aspirations by meeting with a coach about my original songs and the show I did at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019,
  • posting at least twice a day on Twitter,
  • responding to every new follower on Threads by sharing a picture of our cat Joan,
  • maintaining our house by a Boston bay,
  • getting my loose crown reattached by my fabulous dentist Dr. Del Castillo (who is busy with his work, his beautiful family, and playing music),
  • practicing self care, and
  • blogging and interacting with you here.

Can you see how busy I am in the images for today?

.

I shall try to practice simplicity as I have new conversations on another very busy day ahead.

Here’s what I find when I search for “busy” on YouTube (where my new coach thinks I should get busy posting more polished content).

.

If you’re not too busy, please leave a comment, below.

I’m never too busy to express gratitude to YOU!

Day 2032: Synchronicity

Despite five and a half years of blogging synchronicity, I am just now creating a post about synchronicity. Why now?  Because of the synchronicity of this sign:

I saw that in the synchroni-city of Boston, last night.

Here’s a definition of “synchronicity”:

syn·chro·nic·i·ty
siNGkrəˈnisədē
noun

the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.
“such synchronicity is quite staggering”

Are you ready for the simultaneous occurrence of photos that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection?

Here‘s “Synchronicity” by The Police.

Ooops!  Wrong Police.  Let’s try that again.

I look forward to the synchronicity of your comments.

There’s a lot of synchronicity of gratitude here for all those who help me with the synchronicity of my blogging and — of course! — for YOU.
