Thanks to everyone who deals with mixed feelings, including YOU!

most feelings seem to be mixed, until we choose one or the other, sometimes no right or wrong
I feel the same way, beth.
I don’t really have mixed feelings about Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” although I can understand those who don’t like it. For me, it’s a perfectly acceptable reinterpretation of a very old myth (which has already been retold in various ways many times) for our times, in much the same way that Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings were. The sack of Troy is defined by one character as “civilization ending,” which might play to our anxieties about politics today. It will be interesting to see if/how it redefines us going forward.
I don’t have mixed feelings about your great comments, Barbara.
I have mixed feelings about the AI-generated pictures of Joan. On the one hand I think they’re delightfully funny. On the other hand I think AI is using up a lot of resources with little or no benefit, and in some cases is even causing harm.
Many of us have mixed feelings about AI, my friend.
