Yesterday, in my Coping and Healing group, the mindfulness exercise was focusing on peace of mind.
Lately, I’ve been struggling to attain peace of mind. My mind has been going into the future (specifically my upcoming solo trip to Switzerland) with worry and anxiety. It’s also very difficult for me to attain peace of mind when corrupt people are in positions of power.
When I asked about peace of mind on social media last night, some people asked for a definition.

Blogging helps my peace of mind and I hope my images today help yours.

Some people tell me that rain helps their peace of mind. Let’s see what the chances of rain are on rain day.

What a coincidence!
Today, I’m hoping that my yearly echocardiogram helps my peace of mind about my ongoing heart health.
When I search for peace of mind on YouTube, I find this …

Thanks to all who help me attain peace of mind, including YOU!

I have peace of mind when thinking of your solo trip to Switzerland. You have no trouble reaching out to strangers to make connections, to share impressions, to make a friend. I traveled alone most of the time, and the one thing I craved was a little companionship – over a meal, a view, an experience. But I was not comfortable reaching out to others, always feeling as if I were imposing on them. And I’m sure that my discomfiture was what ensured that others felt uncomfortable on the few occasions when I tried. I never had peace of mind about that, but I’m sure that you will. I have peace of mind today knowing that my daughter is safe and well, even though she should always remember that one of life’s rules is CALL YOUR MOM!
Thanks for sharing a piece of your mind about peace of mind, Barbara.

Sounds good, beth.
Somehow looking at pictures of Joan does give me peace of mind.
Also I understand feeling anxious about your trip. I think every time I’ve gone on a trip I’ve been worried all through the preparation and the journey. But then once I gpt there I felt a great relief. And needless to say there was nothing to worry about. After all I’m still here.
Thanks for increasing my peace of mind, Chris.
