Near the end of my group therapy and individual therapy sessions, I often ask people what feels left unsaid.
What feels left unsaid for me, here and now, is that a wonderful social work intern who co-facilitated two group sessions with me in 2025 tragically died recently in a motorcycle accident.
What feels left unsaid is that life can be very, very unfair. What also feels left unsaid is that sometimes, words fail.
Often, when we say what feels left unsaid we find out that we are not alone. I often express what feels left unsaid here through words and images.

Here’s what I find when I search for “what feels left unsaid” on YouTube.

Many thanks to all who help me express what feels left unsaid, including YOU.

What a beautiful tribute and legacy for Michaela . Gone way too soon
So true and thank you, beth.
Not so much left unsaid as left undone. Several years ago I got a phone message from a dear friend who was dying of cancer. This was on a Monday. I was busy. Whenever she and I had conversations, they often went on and on as one thing would always lead to another. So I put off returning that call. She died on Wednesday morning, and I will never get to return that call. So what was left unsaid were all the delightful topics we might have broached on Monday. I let her down by not responding right away and I let myself down for missing one more conversation with her. So many things I might have said.
What feels left unsaid for me is that I think it is time for you to forgive yourself, Barbara.
I have. Forgiven but not forgotten.
I’m so sorry to hear about your intern colleague. So very sad.
Thank you for saying that, Debbie.
