In my family, bragging was discouraged because that was
- immodest and
- invited the “evil eye.”
I don’t know if this is bragging, but I encourage people in my groups to bravely choose patterns others than those dictated by one’s family of origin, so I am creating a bragging post today.

The Daily Bitch is bragging in her own way.
Am I bragging when I share that I am very pleased with this original song?
.
Now I’m bragging that I have wonderful readers like you!

When I first read your Fenway Park comment, I thought, “Wait, when did she perform at Fenway Park and how did I miss it???” But then I realized what you meant. As an avid Red Sox fan and ticketholder of a partial season plan, I spend a lot of time there, and I also receive many notices about other goings-on at the stadium. None about you though, LOL.
Maybe someday, Debbie!
I like to brag about my kids (intellligent, kind and funny people) and my age. I’m so astounded at actually living to 83 that I’m tempted to start claiming I’m 84 before time, but that may be tempting fate.
I can relate to that kind of bragging, Barbara.
I’ve dropped off of Twitter but I think I’ve been following you here on your blog for at least ten years and I feel like that’s worth bragging about.
And I will continue bragging about my connection to you, Chris.
the song is great! I’m glad you had a bragging day!
Thanks so much, Carol Anne!
