Last night, I asked a question about statistics on social media. 100% of the answers were interesting and I am including less than 100% of the answers here.

.
My show biz coach suggested that I promote my music by getting on podcasts about behavioral health issues. I am happy to report that, so far, 100% of the podcasts I contacted have invited me on.
The statistics about the reach of that podcast are very impressive …

… and a good percentage of me is very nervous about appearing and also wondering if I am jinxing the whole thing by writing about it today.
I approve of 100% of the images in today’s blog post.

.
I can relate to a percentage of today’s observances as I plan on checking my meds and babbling when I introduce a small percentage of my original songs at a gathering of social workers in my hospital this evening.
Here are the two songs I will perform tonight:

.
The second song — “Don’t Kill Yourself” — is (1) 100% of my completely serious songs, (2) getting the most listens of all my songs on Apple Music, and (3) probably the title of the podcast episode of Therapist Uncensored I’ll be on.
Now I have to calm down some percentage of my nervous system before proceeding with this precious day.
100% thanks to all who are here for this statistics post, including YOU!

Funny thing about baseball is that it is really entirely statistics. During last night’s American League Championship Game 7, the commentator mentioned that Alejandro Kirk was the best two-strike hitter in baseball- meaning when facing a 3 strike, he gets a hit something like 67% of the time. My wife only heard best hitter in baseball to which I had to correct to the best two strike hitter… Statistics can be as broad (94% of sexual assault in America is committed by American Citizens) or as specific (55% of those committing sexual assault are white males) as you want them to be.
Hmmm Garbanzo Bean Day. I do love me some Hummus. I rarely call them Garbanzo Beans, but chick peas because George Carlin’s skit on the funny names for foods. On garbanzos “Hey did you take out the Garbanzo Beans? ” Of course, writing this without inflection, it loses some of its hilarity. And apples. Sliced apples with hummus?? Yes please..
I am 100% grateful for your comments, Stan.
I have to figure out what percentage of books I’m going to keep and what to give away, as I go through my shelves and just keeping my faves and sharing the rest with the universe to enjoy
You are not alone, beth.
beth: I relate. When I moved to Madison from Seattle, I must have donated at least 75 percent of my books to the Seattle Friends of the Library for their annual book sale. Most of them were popular fiction that I knew I would never take out to read again. A few favorites were hardbacks that I kept, as well as old non-fiction books that I treasured. I’ve bought a few more, but for the most part I rely on my Kindle. It holds a lot of books without needing an extra box. 🙂
I think the numbers will be on your side, Ann.
We shall see, my friend.
