Day 4649: Getting Out

Yesterday, people in my therapy group talked about getting out of toxic relationships and about fears that stop them from getting out of the house.

Years ago, I made this button for one of my patients who was having trouble getting out of situations she didn’t want to be in.

.

Many people have been considering getting out of my country since our last Presidential election.

Getting out for a walk each day helps me keep going. Soon, the great egrets I love will be getting out of the marshes and flying south. J

oan, our cat, who will not be getting out of her annual vet visit today, loves getting out of the house on her harness.

There’s no getting out of my sharing my other images now.

.

Here’s my song about getting out of the house.

Here is Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue from last night after getting out of his temporary suspension.

.

There’s no getting out of my gratitude for wonderful people like you!

  2. When I was young my grandfather gave me a circular button with “TUIT” printed on it. He said “Give this to anyone who tells you they’ll do something when they get around to it.” I wish I still had it. I know they’re still around and I may acquire one eventually.

  3. I enjoyed your photos of Joan, Harley, apples and Michael ‘s restored ceiling. Thank you for sharing those happy photos that also allow me to escape worrying thoughts for a moment.

  4. Your outdoors is always interesting, Ann.

  5. Most interesting on the web today? Your beautiful photos of the egrets and the lovely walk with your cat on a harness. Too much fun!
