Day 3819: Juggling

In therapy, people often talk about the challenge of juggling different things in their lives, including their needs with others’ needs.

As I’m juggling my urge to travel with other people’s priorities, I am now resolving to travel more on my own, letting go of any fear about that.

What juggling do you see in my images for today?

I’ve been juggling these images to make sure that World Juggling Day would appear here!

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “juggling.”

Happy World Juggling Day and thanks to all who are doing their best juggling, including YOU!

  1. Yep, cat people are ignored (I say as I wonder how to easily get the cat off my lap so I can get another cup of coffee, realizing I may be here until lunch…)

  2. All the cats and dogs I’ve happily shared my life with had their own personalities, Ann.
And, enjoy every bit of travel you add to your life!

  3. life is a circus filled with balancing, juggling, jumping, tightrope walking, and riding atop ponies at times. but so important that we find ourselves safely on the ground after each experience.

  4. Leon Fairbanks

Enrico Rastelli (1896-1931) is considered the greatest juggler who ever lived. He juggled 10 balls in his act. That was the record number of balls juggled. Alexander Koblikov has duplicated that feat. Amazing.

  5. Today I am going to have to try to juggle … wait a minute. I’m an old lady with my errands for the week all done. I’ve penciled in several things I *want* to do today, but whenever I start feeling anxious about them I remember. I’m the only one telling me what to do. (sound of balls bouncing around on the kitchen floor)

  6. I went to see Penn and Teller live. Penn came out juggling flaming batons and everyone applauded. Then he broke the ends of some wine bottles and juggled those. The response was a little more muted. He then explained that the flaming batons were balanced and meant to be juggled but the bottles were harder because they were so irregular, and really more impressive.
Sometimes I feel like we’re juggling flaming broken bottles.

  7. I like the framing of the one with the figure, and all of them are well framed. As for juggling, for me is much like multitasking.
