Day 4707: What we don’t need

I don’t know if you need to know this, but last night I asked a question on social media about what we don’t need.

.

Because I’ve been listening to this audiobook…

.

… I’ve been thinking about the song “Wooden Ships,” with its lyrics about what we don’t need.

.

.

We don’t need perfect segues and the goodbye in that song reminds me that today is World Hello Day.

.

Do you see anything we do or don’t need in my other images for today?

.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “what we don’t need” on YouTube:

.

What we do need is more gratitude, so thanks to all who are here, now, including YOU!

Day 3977: What day is it?

What day is it? It’s November 22, a very momentous day for me — the anniversary of my first pacemaker surgery on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

It’s a day when I’m remembering giving a speech about that at my 45th college reunion, here.

It’s a day when I’ll be facilitating an online group therapy session from home and thinking about the concert I’m planning around the time of my 50th reunion.

What day is it? It’s a day when I blog and share my images with you, as usual.

.

What day is it? It’s a day when I practice accompanying this song on my new electronic drum kit.

.

What day is it? It’s another day when I give thanks for YOU.
