What day is it? It’s November 22, a very momentous day for me — the anniversary of my first pacemaker surgery on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
It’s a day when I’m remembering giving a speech about that at my 45th college reunion, here.
It’s a day when I’ll be facilitating an online group therapy session from home and thinking about the concert I’m planning around the time of my 50th reunion.
What day is it? It’s a day when I blog and share my images with you, as usual.

What day is it? It’s a day when I practice accompanying this song on my new electronic drum kit.

What day is it? It’s another day when I give thanks for YOU.

Happy anniversary!!
I’m always happy to see you!
What day is it? Yes, I remember the Kennedy assassination. I was 20 years old working and living on my own in Chicago. One room apt. with a Murphy bed and the bathroom down the hall. I don’t remember having a TV. So why do I remember watching everything? I don’t remember.
Thanks for your memories, Barbara.
And Nov 22 is the anniversary of my father’s passing. 46 years. I probably mentioned that last year too. He’s now been gone twice as long as I had him.
A very important day, my friend. 💙
I think this is about the time I made my second trip to the home of Dylan Thomas, getting all the way to the little Welsh town of Laugharne where he spent the last years of his life. It’s where he’s buried, though he died in New York. His home is a museum now but it was closed when I got there. So I went to his grave and said hello to him.
Hello, Chris, and thanks for sharing!
I have known your story long enough that I actually thought of you today and your anniversary. That was quite a medical event for a young girl, and to later find out the whole world had shifted must have been shocking. Anniversaries that land on major historical events are kind of fascinating to me. My grandson’s birthday is 9-11. He’s still so young it means nothing to him, but I wonder what he’ll think when he gets older. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Ann.
Thanks for all of this, my wonderful friend. 💕
what a day for you and glad you’re here to tell us about it
Glad we’re both here, beth!
