Day 4019: Be more present

Yesterday, after I was trying to be more present at (1) the airport saying goodbye to my son, (2) the vet’s office ordering more blood pressure medication for our cat Harley, and (3) the movie theatre for another film on my vacation, I saw this sign:

.

It helps to be more present, despite the mind’s insistence on traveling to the past, the future, and away from where we are.

Let’s be more present with my other images for today.

.

Celebrating “life through looming death” has been helping me be more present since I was very young.

Here’s Mel Robbins with a way to be more present:

What helps you be more present?

Please be more present with my gratitude for YOU!

Day 3655: Wildcat

On the recommendation of my husband Michael, I watched the superb documentary Wildcat.

Michael — who is very critical and “discerning” (his word) about films — described Wildcat as “moving” and “surprising” which moved me to watch it the day I got back from my trip to NYC. Also, Wildcat is about cats and PTSD — both defining interests in my life.

Here is the trailer for Wildcat.

Do you see any wild cats in my images for today?

While our wild cats will be celebrating Festival of Sleep Day, I’ll be working from home providing behavioral health services.

Thanks to all who helped me create this “Wildcat” post, including YOU.
