Day 3655: Wildcat

On the recommendation of my husband Michael, I watched the superb documentary Wildcat.

Michael — who is very critical and “discerning” (his word) about films — described Wildcat as “moving” and “surprising” which moved me to watch it the day I got back from my trip to NYC. Also, Wildcat is about cats and PTSD — both defining interests in my life.

Here is the trailer for Wildcat.

Do you see any wild cats in my images for today?

While our wild cats will be celebrating Festival of Sleep Day, I’ll be working from home providing behavioral health services.

Thanks to all who helped me create this “Wildcat” post, including YOU.

  1. We recently saw Wildcat; it was excellent indeed!

  2. Saw that movie pop up in my feed over the weekend. Wondered about it. Will move to the ‘yes, definitely’ queue…. 😌

  3. Cats offer excellent therapy regardless of what insurance you have–even if you don’t have insurance.

  5. looking forward to seeing wildcat, it looks/sounds excellent. one great thing about cats is that they don’t really care about people’s opinions of them. they live their best lives based on what they feel is the thing to do at any given moment, unrestricted by social mores.

  6. The cats being escorted off the train remind me of the pigeons I have seen hitching a ride on London’s Underground

  7. We can definitely tell that Elisabeth and George’s cat Ava is happy that I am visiting more often now that they live just a mile away, Ann. She now greets me with her patented flop-and-pet-me move. Wild!

  8. I think Joan is so elegant, and I think she has the regal nature of a “wildcat.” She’s a stunner! And I’m glad to have Michael’s review of the documentary. I saw a brief ad for it at one time and thought it looked appealing, but then I forgot about it. I’ll be sure to catch it! 🙂
