Day 4933: A Break

Because of understaffing at work, I really need a break.

Because of the current corrupt administration, my country needs a break. Many of us are concerned that if we don’t get a break in the midterms that our democracy may break.

Yesterday, many of us took a break from our usual routines to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the USA.

Now it’s time for a break from this introduction with my still and moving images for today.

.

On this National Workaholics Day, I’ll be taking a break before I return to work tomorrow.

Thanks to all who give me a break, including YOU!

Day 3836: Independence

On this Independence Day, I’m thinking that independence might be overrated, since we need to depend on each other in order to thrive and survive.

I depend on you to tell me if you see independence or interdependence in my images for today.

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “independence” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all those I depend on this Independence Day, including YOU.

Day 3462: Independence

I’m going to show my independence today by creating the blog post I want.

The Daily Bitch seems to have the independence to say whatever she wants, no matter what day it is. I aspire to the same.

In a few hours I’ll be watching our local Independence Day parade, after having the independence to take a very long walk by myself.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “independence.”

What are your thoughts and feelings about this “independence” post?

I’m very grateful for the independence I still have and, of course, for YOU.

Day 914: What the hell is happening?

Last night, at a therapy group, people expressed fear, confusion, and concern about things they experienced around them.

Somebody asked, “What the hell is happening?” and that became the topic of

  • the group exercise and
  • today’s post.

What the hell is happening, in these photos?

What the hell is happening, here,  in the song “For What It’s Worth” by the Buffalo Springfield?

What the hell is happening where you are?

What the hell? I’m very thankful to all who helped me create this post and to you — of course! — for reading it.
