Day 3991: What are you looking forward to?

What are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to

  • My long-awaited appointment at a craniofacial center today (because of my clicking jaw),
  • The therapy groups I’m facilitating this week,
  • An Open Mic on Friday where I’ll be debuting my original song “It’s Hard to Get Shit Done When You’re Scared Shitless,” accompanying myself on an electronic drum kit,
  • A ten-day vacation from work at the end of December,
  • My son returning from Halifax to Massachusetts for the holidays, and
  • Sharing these images with you today.

What’s the Daily Bitch looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to your comments about this post and thanks for looking forward with me here, now.

Day 3878: What are you looking forward to?

What are you looking forward to? I asked that question last night on the site formerly known as Twitter.

Speaking of dangling prepositions, to what am I looking forward? Among other things, I’m looking forward to a day when my jaw doesn’t click when I open it. Since I talk for a living, maybe my jaw will get a much needed rest next week when I’m on vacation, which I’m looking forward to.

Are you looking forward to my other images for today?

.

I’m looking forward to many relaxation days, starting (why not?) NOW.

Here’s the first thing I find when when I search YouTube for “what are you looking forward to?”

.

Now I’m looking forward to comments about what you’re looking forward to, below.

Thanks to all who give me something to look forward to, including YOU!

Day 3034: What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

Thanks to fellow blogger and fellow tweeter Crispy Confessions for today’s title question: What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

Stand up comedy may not actually be the scariest thing I’ve ever done (agreeing to have open heart surgery in 2016 might have been scarier), but it was the only time my whole body screamed “PLEASE, CAN WE JUST RUN AWAY NOW?!!!” moments before. Also, performing stand up comedy for the first time was something I willingly chose to do, whereas that valve replacement surgery wasn’t really a choice — it was more a matter of survival.

So I’m happy with my answer to the question, “What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?”

Taking walks during the rain yesterday was a little scary, but so is almost everything we’ve done since March 2020.

Love can be scary.

Zombies, being brainless, and awkward moments can be scary, too.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?”

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

It’s never scary for me to express my gratitude to all who help me blog every day, including YOU!
