One way to deal with anxiety is to notice the neutral now.
Here’s how the Noom app describes the neutral now:

I’m also trying to expand my neutral now by practicing a more neutral reaction to old triggers, including “unprecedented” storms, equipment failures, and perceived rejections.
Do you notice the neutral now in any of my images for today?

Here’s what I find now when I search for “the neutral now” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who are here for the neutral now, including YOU!

Good advice. And beautiful cat. The image of the cat on the back of the sofa is stunning.
Thank you, Dawn, and I will let the beautiful and neutral-colored Joan know.
I have a hard time feeling neutral at this time in history
You’re not alone, beth.
I don’t live in a neutral world, unless you count the gray siding of the house next door or the slightly brighter shade of gray of the o’er shadowing sky. I’ve never read the books of the “spark joy” lady, but I’ve heard of the concept and I can say unequivocally that nearly everything in sight in my office sparks a sort of joy. Pink cookies. Handy tissues. Colorful jigsaw puzzle in progress. Dead posters. Photograph taken by a loved friend. Photo of me, Caroline and Jeanie in Greece. Even the keyboard. Without it, how would I tell you guys all about it?
Thanks for sparking joy in the now, Barbara.
I’d completely forgotten about that “Sorry” game! I used to love it when I was a kid.
I loved it then and I love it now!
I often feel like Joan sets a good example, especially when she gives the TV remote a very neutral look. I also hope your power outage didn’t last too long.
It was back in time for me to do my work, Chris. Thanks for setting a good example.
I love this! And good luck defusing your old triggers!
Thank you, Carol Anne!
