Day 4724: Lessons learned

One of my lessons learned is that I should set my alarm on a Monday lest I oversleep, but I forgot to do that last night.

Another lesson learned is that I hate the feeling that muscle relaxants and similar drugs give me, because of my hospital experiences when I was young

Another one of my lessons learned is that I can get a blog post out every day, no matter what.

Do you see lessons learned in my images for today?

.

Another lesson learned is that I don’t have to know everything, including what the holidays of the day are.

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “lessons learned”.

.

Here are lessons learned about other people’s anger.

What are your lessons learned?

Another lesson I’ve learned is to be grateful for wonderful people in my life, including you!

LIfe is full of lessons. Hard to pick best one. The toughest one for me to learn was: Don’t fear failure.
Everybody fails at something. Don’t let it stop you. Sure, you may get knocked down again, so you get back up again. At least you’re trying. So many people go through life without trying. That is why we are where we are.

We live in an unforgiving society. The Calvinist idea that someone is poor because they have sinned, or idle hands are the devil’s playthings, contributes to the unforgiving nature. And when someone fails, we cannot forgive. This creates fear and a culture that allows perfection to be the enemy of the good.

I have tried and failed. But I never failed to try.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that the Feast of the Immaculate Conception coincided with Take it in the Ear day??

That being alone is not necessarily lonely.

  3. I worked in a call center for truck drivers long before I could remember having to call a customer service line. The fact that there’s a real person on the other end of every call, who may be having a bad day, a bad week, or worse, who may be doing the best they can, is a lesson that’s stayed with me a long time.

  4. that everything is temporary
