Day 4716: Good for You

One of my coworkers, another therapist, told me that when listening to patients he often says, “Good for you.”

I believe that’s a good way to respond to people who are doing their best to heal and to bring more good into their lives.

If you are spending more time with good people, staying true to your values and priorities, putting your needs slightly above others’, and being kind in the midst of unkindness, I say, “good for you.”

Do you see things that are good for you in my images for today?

.

Thanks to all who are doing things that are good for you, including YOU!

I’m gonna say “Good for you!” to my son when he comes in from shoveling the walks, which the city requires and which I can no longer do. We got 11+” of snow in Madison yesterday. Snowed for 24 hours straight. I’m gleeful! Thankfully, our sidewalk portions are not long.

  5. I like to encourage people, especially when I’m doing training at work, but I also like to encourage people to take time for themselves.
