Day 4691: Votes

After we cast our votes in our local election yesterday, we were pleased with how the votes came in across the country.

.

I’ve never understood the small percentage of Americans who cast votes in elections and it was good to see the turnout in votes yesterday.

Here’s a question I asked about votes last night on social media:

.

I love those votes.

Who votes for my sharing the rest of my images for today?

I’m going to be on the Therapist Uncensored podcast, which gets my vote.
This gets my vote for my best then and now post on Facebook.
Who gets your vote for cutest cat ever?
This gets my vote for Michael’s latest culinary masterpiece.
This gets my vote for best mindful eating cartoon.
Which observance gets your vote for today?

.

When, I go on the Therapist Uncensored podcast, we’ll probably discuss which of my original songs get the most votes from listeners, including this one:

.

People who show up with compassion get my votes, including YOU!

There is a glimmer of hope.
Who gets my vote? The person who more closely aligns with my values. Yes, that sometimes means a Republican gets my vote. But not all Rs are MAGAts. Some just want to control spending. Some do not care about abortion and support workers. (Okay, they’re few and far between) It is possible to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative; my wife and I are living proof.

Remember, remember, the Fifth of November! Oh, wait! Wrong country. Meanwhile, back home again, remember, remember, the Fourth of November. National Backlash Day!

  3. such a great night, filled with hope and joy

  4. I couldn’t vote yesterday but it was nice seeing a lot of people who would get my vote win. And also I don’t know what that dish was but it also definitely gets my vote.

  5. This was a satisfying election, Ann.
