Day 4615: Lists

I have lists in my head, on paper, and on my phone.

My lists today include:

  • writing a eulogy for a beloved patient,
  • preparing an email about my album release tomorrow,
  • creating a “canvas” (a looping video) for my song “Don’t Kill Yourself” with helpful resources, and
  • celebrating my husband Michael’s birthday.

.

What lists do you see in my images today?

.

Here’s what I find when I search for “lists” on YouTube:

.

Also on my list: thank you all for being here, now.

  1. You have a lot on your plate today, Ann. Writing a eulogy is a very big responsibility. I can’t think of anybody better to do that, than you, but I hope you also factor in some time for self-care today. Happy birthday to Michael, who is one of the most brilliant and amazing people I have never met, and your photos of his meals have inspired many of my concoctions at home. Happy birthday to him.

Sum of my to do list:
I am a one-armed wallpaper hanger and a hurricane is blowing through. (no offense to anyone missing a limb) .

I wrote a eulogy for my older brother. It was painful. 13 years later and I still get teary-eyed over it. Sure, we had our knock-down-drag-out fights, but when needed, I was in his corner and he in mine.

Lists. I love making lists. Today I’m going to make a list of a) everything I have put on the credit card that I reserve for car-related things and b) the payments I have made so far the last couple of years, so I can see what, if any, of those items have been paid and make plans for future payments with an eye to knocking it down in a couple of years. Yeah, I’m a little OC. 🙂

  4. I try to make lists and then lose them, I think the act of making them is comforting in itself

  5. I work from lists, too! If I don’t I get nothing done! 😀

  6. It is a great feeling to get to the bottom of it, Ann.
