In the midst of caring for others, I am doing my best to practice self care.
Part of my self care is creating these blog posts every day. Another part of my self care is not agonizing over what to include in each post.
I would like to extend that self care to not agonizing over anything.

Here’s one of my songs about self care, which I am may not include in my live album.

How do you practice self care?
Thanks to all who help me with self care, including YOU!

In learned this week that I am going to have to do some serious self care and as I have never attended to that, I have a lot to learn. One person I am learning from us you!
I hope your situation isn’t serious, my dear friend.
For a long time now I have chosen to get a pedicure instead of cutting my toenails myself – my glasses kept falling off when I bent over the toilet to cut them, as was once my wont. I know, I thought. I can pay people to do this. So yesterday I went again – with my Kindle – to have someone clean my feet and paint my nails. 45 minutes of just sitting there reading while someone else cares for me! This month I’m purple.
You inspired me to get a mani-pedi today and I chose purple also!
I’ve been watching clusters of blackberries around my house steadily ripen. They’ve brought back memories of blackberry picking when I was a child. Putting on long sleeves and long pants and knee-high socks to tramp among brambles in August heat might not sound like fun but it felt good to come home with a bucket full. So did the cobbler made with the berries I picked.
Thanks for sharing that self care, my caring friend.
Doing what you do brings a lot of people comfort, Ann.
Thanks for another caring comment, Mark.
