Day 4409: Ages

As I gratefully approach the age of 72, I am trying to make sense of the distressing age we are living in.

Yesterday, because I wasn’t satisfied with my first recording of The Age of Nefarious (my new lyrics for The Age of Aquarius), I tried again:

.

My ex-husband, Leon, thinks that song is one for the ages.

What ages do you see in my images for today?

.

This the age when a man with the emotional age of a 4-year-old is President of the USA. Hell hath no fury like him and that’s hell for thinking, empathic people of all ages.

Thanks to all who are here for this ages post, including YOU!

January 27 is my solar return date…
Share this date with Mozart, Baryshnikov, Patton Oswalt, Rosamund Pike, Keith Olberman, and 4 high school classmates.
    In very good company.

Had to read in grad school (when it first came out).

  2. Great job with the Age of Nefarious, Ann! Love how it manages to be ominous and danceable at the same time.

What Republican Party? The RP that put Lincoln in the White House is no more. Nor is the stolid RP of Mr. Republican, Robert A. Taft. It began to die with Tricky Dick, who did manage to do a couple of Lincolnesque things like opening a pathway to China and forming the Environmental Protection Agency before tricking himself into early retirement. Reagan fast tracked the Southern Strategy by opening his campaign in Philadelphia, MS, with a states’ rights speech. GW Bush thought a war in Iraq would be a winner just like WWII. And then Donald J. Trump came down an elevator and opened his big mouth about immigrants. So what to call what used to be the Republican Party? I think just plain MAGA fits. It almost rhymes with Mafia. Sounds ominous. And those letters can be used in a number of ways to describe them. This is the Age of MAGA. Males Adopting Greedy Ambitions

  4. love the new song and perfect for the times

  5. The new song is brilliant.
And having read many biographies the one thing I’ve concluded is that every life is interesting and every life is unique.
