Day 4404: How do you feel?

Yesterday, I saw my wonderful Primary Care Physician, Dr. Laura Snydman, for my yearly checkup and she asked me many questions including “How do you feel?”

I told her I feel well physically (now that I have finally recovered from RSV) and I feel terrible about the state of our country.

She noted that my blood pressure went down after I sang my new song The Age of Nefarious for her yesterday and we both felt good about that.

How do you feel about my images for today?

Here’s what I find when I search for “How do you feel?” on YouTube:

How do you feel about my gratitude for YOU?

In a way, I’m viewing the whole thing rather like watching a dystopian movie, waiting for the good guys to make a move. Or, indeed, waiting for everything to go spectacularly bad. There was this in the Seattle Times today: “Donald Trump has canceled travel for refugees who had been cleared to resettle in the U.S. And state and local officials who stand in his way on immigration will face investigation by federal prosecutors under another directive.”

In other news, all federal DEI workers are being let go. It’s as if everything we were certain was settled is now upended, the papers on which our freedoms were written are being torn up, black is now white and blue is now red. I should say I feel horrified, but I’m not certain I really know what horrified is as yet. This is just the beginning.

  2. We bought a bed for our cat that plugs in so that she can stay warm in our very cold house, and I feel quite happy when I see her curled up in — who h is often all day long.
