It’s difficult to practice radical acceptance when so many things are unacceptable. I know I’m not alone in believing that many actions of the new USA administration are unacceptable.
How do we deal with the unacceptable? The first step is naming it.

Here are my other images for this “unacceptable” post.

Pema Chodron talks about accepting that we never finally have our shit together. However, we’ll need to have our shit together well enough to combat and survive the unacceptable all around us.
Here’s what I find when I search for “unacceptable” on YouTube.

Now I’m hearing new words for the song “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole.

What are your thoughts and feeling about this unacceptable post?
Thanks to all who helped me create this unacceptable post, including YOU!

If the word hate fits….than it must be used. I thought he might be all bluster again, but obviously he learned from last time to surround himself with only his people..so there’s no one there to counter him, no one there to keep us safe from his dangerous ideas.
i was afraid that his unacceptable behavior would be acceptable to too many people this time around, Dawn.
Despise works, Ann.
For the despicable it does work, my good friend.
zero tolerance for this despicable human
Yes, my friend.
I have long held hatred, like love, requires intimate knowledge. As I have none, nor do I want any, I cannot hate Mr Trump. I can and do, however, loathe, despise, and detest him. I have great disdain for him. Lastly, I hold him in contempt.
That said, while I am wary I do not want him to live rent free in my thoughts.
I find this comment more than acceptable, Stan.
Hate is too strong a word for the puny FF (First Felon). I say puny, because his policies all underline his weakness, his inability to think clearly, to empathize, etc., etc. Even though he and his cohorts may leave an outsize footprint on this country, none of them bear any resemblance to strength of mind, character, or soul. For which one might feel some pity, if not for the real life burden they place on our people. That burden is worth an ounce or two of hate.
This ia a most acceptable response, Barbara. Many thanks.
I’m trying not to give in to hate. You may have heard there was a school shooting in Nashville this week. The young man who carried it out said he hated himself for being Black. I think that’s incredibly sad but if you asked me how I feel about the messages that make people feel that way about themselves I could only say I hate them.
An interesting paradox, Christopher. But do you think that there may be different ways of hating or different types of hatred?
Maureen, I think there are and that’s a very interesting question. It reminds me of the “paradox of tolerance” that says that in order to have a tolerant society we have to be intolerant of intolerance.
I love this comment, Chris.
