Day 4303: Giving

In a world where some people are all about taking, I love giving my time to beautifully giving people like my life-long friend, Barbara.

.

That photo was taken by a giving guy who was also giving his attention to three dogs.

.

Barbara and I have been giving each other support for close to 70 years and I’m always giving thanks for my friendship with her.

.

Yesterday we were both giving thanks for nature giving us such a beautiful day.

.

Do you see giving in my other images for today?

.

On Good Samaritan Day and Treat Yo’ Self Day, I’m giving a shout out to giving to others AND to yourself.

My giving music producer Riccardo Pearlman is giving me clips like this to share on TikTok:

.

After giving some time to that, I just posted it on TikTok! I need to be giving more thought about how to get more traction there.

Here’s a link to my current TikTok profile:

As usual, I’m giving thanks to all my wonderful readers, including YOU!

  1. I love your long friendship with Barbara and the gifts in the hollow of the tree. both wonderful

  2. It is Canadian Thanksgiving and I am giving thanks for my family and friends, including you. I wish I had some helpful tips about Tik Tok for you, but I have never used it. However, I have noticed that you usually master things you put your mind to, and so I think I will be following you to Tik Tok one day soon. 🙂

  3. It is a true gift that you and Barbara give support to each other through the decades, Ann.

  4. I had a marvelous morning yesterday tabling with the Dane (county) Dems at the Madison Farmers’ Market. The Raging Grannies came and set up next to us, which gathered a huge crowd. Talk about giving – we had piles of bumper stickers and clothing stickers and window signs and yard signs, and by the time I left, there were only a few yard signs left, but that’s because we had several bundles of them – I think only 2 bundles were left undone. I was handing them out hand over fist. A big favorite in window signs said Harris/Walz on one side and Badgers (University of Wisconsin mascot) for Harris/Walz on the other. And when someone picked one of them, I asked if they had two windows, upon which many took two. Twas a grand day for giving!
