Day 4276: Let Your Light Shine

Yesterday morning, I was practicing Qigong with a YouTube video that ended with the instructor describing how to let your light shine into the universe.

Then, on a walk through my neighborhood, I saw this:

.

Later, I let my light shine by spending time with light-shining friends Janet and Ray at lunch and then a 50th anniversary showing of Mel Brooks’s Blazing Saddles.

Now I will try to let light shine with the other images I captured yesterday.

Letting your light shine, Daily Bitch style.

Here’s what I find when I search for “let your light shine” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who let their light shine, including YOU!

  1. Thank you for your bright light, Ann.

  2. You are a bright spark in many peoples lives, Anne! I am happy that we connected!

  3. As the song says, you light up my (our) life, and always have! We had so much fun having dinner and a movie with you yesterday, especially such a hilarious classic. Enjoy the Titanic Time Heist and we’ll see you again soon. xo, Janet

    • You light up my life too, Janet, with your words and everything you bring! I loved the book and maybe we’ll see lights in Italy next year!

  4. I shone a light on my friend Jack when i published my memoir of him on my website yesterday. Then his old running buddy, shone a light on me by requesting me to call him. Jack’s friends will never let him go silent into that good night.

  5. and I had beautiful moonlight shining into my bedroom window last night – beautiful

  6. I think it’s interesting that Anne Bradstreet wrote a poem, “Verses Upon The Burning Of Our House”, which occurred on July 10, 1666. A few months later, starting September 2nd, and an ocean away, the Great Fire of London would start.
That’s not a light coincidence but it is illuminating.
