Yesterday, when I was trying to settle my mind, I went for a morning walk and listened to “Being Peace” by Thich Nhat Hanh.

As I practice being peace (instead of worrying about peace), the world looks different to me.

Here is “Being Peace.”

Thanks to all who are here for this “Being Peace” blog, including YOU.

a peaceful hello to you
Back at you, my friend.
I so much appreciated being peace with the world watching the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games yesterday Ann. I had tears in my eyes (again!) when the 100-year-old athlete wheeled into the procession of flame torch carriers.
I felt the same, my friend.
I’ve watched two hours of the Opening Ceremonies – always love them – and am amazed at Paris in the rain. Of course they sing, dance and play right through it. Will watch the rest today. Then whatever games are there when I have time to watch. I always root for countries that have never won a medal, but this year I think I’m all in for the refugee team. If anyone stands for peace, they do.
Thanks for being peace, Barbara.
