Morning Has Broken: I think you’ve got it! These days I get by believing that TFG won’t be able to get away with as much as he thinks he will – and a majority of the American people will refuse to comply with Project 2025’s mandates.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how this period will be written up in history books, and go through my days with a sense that I’m living through a chapter that some future generation will read and be appalled at.

Celebrating the Scopes trial today (which I assume is what “Monkey Day” refers to) may be a good lesson for these times. Evolution is and always has been a fact and yet challenges to teaching it still pop up regularly. Education isn’t just a lifelong process; it’s multi-generational.
