Hugs to all my readers!
It’s so wonderful to be experiencing in-person hugs with friends after all those months of virtual hugs (which have also been life-sustaining).
Are you getting enough hugs these days? Let’s see if there are any hugs in my images for today.

.
When I was a kid, every time Norma Tanega’s “Walkin’ My Cat Named Dog” came on the radio, it felt like a virtual hug to me.
Now I’m giving a virtual hug to the late Norma Tanega for all the joy she gave me and others.
Who would you like to hug, here and now?
Hugs and thanks to all who help me experience virtual hugs through this blog every day, including YOU!

your pasta reached out and hugged me and I love the dog/cat song. there truly is a song for everything and that is lucky
Thanks for the hug of this comment, beth!
Even with double vaccinations we are advised against hugs
I’m giving you a virtual hug right now, my friend.
🙂
Happy Third of July hugs to you over the miles, Ann.
And happy 4th of July hugs to you and yours, Mark!
I am so going to do a similar version on my blog! I love these ideas and pictures front your life, miles away and yet I get to see them💕
Thanks for the virtual hugs in your lovely comment!
I have a feeling those virtual hugs will be coming back due to the Delta variant, and to the lack of enough people getting fully vaccinated
due to the lack of people not getting fully vaccinated.
You may be right !
This is one of the times I would like to be wrong.
I loved the little guy being hugged by the big guy and the gal hugging her cat. Hugging a furry pet is the best. And your calendar is actually a tool I started using with my son when he was very little and first struggling. Because he melted down pretty much every day at some point, he wore me out. And thank goodness I stumbled across a parenting philosophy that helped me not kill him. Hugging him when we both melted down became a thing. And today I still hug him when he’s out of sorts – and he does this with me too.
I’m hugging you in my mind right now!
I’ve been told I give very good hugs and I like to think that’s because I’m not much of a hugger but when I do it’s just a hug. I want to be comforting but respectful. Earlier today though I was awakened by our puppy Junko jumping on my chest and asking to be hugged, which is something our cats used to do.
Hugs to you and the family, Chris!
I did not know that song by Norma Tanega, Walking my Cat Named Dog, but I sure enjoyed it and I passed it on to one of my kids who has been walking a friend’s cat.
Hugs to you and your family, Maureen !
Hug a tree and Harley!
