Right before I started today’s blog post, the power went out.
Because I have the power to think and plan, I strategized about problems and solutions.
I have the power to blog on my phone and I have charging backup.
I have the power to let go of catastrophizing thoughts (my patients! the food in the refrigerator!) (Danger! Danger!).
I have the power to connect to my 11:30 therapy group through my phone.
Also, I have the power to share these images for today:

.
Despite the power outage, I have the power to search YouTube for a video about power.
.
Thanks to all who are here for this power post, including YOU!

The most power most of us have already is the power to decide how we will behave in response to actions that impact us in ways we do not control.
Thanks for your powerful comment, Barbara.
I was happy to see at least one person has Charlotte’s Web as their favorite animal story. There’s a large Aranea cavatica that builds her web every night under one of our outdoor lights. But I’ve noticed that when I leave the light on she won’t come out. I feel like the most powerful thing I can do is leave the power off.
You have the power, Chris.
Hope the power wasn’t out for too long Anne!
Not long at all, my friend!
