Day 4921: Let It Go

Yesterday, I had a very difficult day of work at the hospital and I’m still trying to let it go.

Taking the ferry home at the end of a Monday always helps me let it go, but my difficult day kept me too late to catch the ferry, so I had to let it go.

Luckily, today is Let It Go Day!

.

Creating this daily blog of words and images is how I let it go, whatever “it” is.

It’s time to let it go!

.

When I look for “let it go” on YouTube, I find this …

.

… and this.

.

Thanks to Ash Beckham, cool cats everywhere, and everyone who is here for this let-it-go post, including YOU!

OK. 2. (carrying on the dumb guy thing) Another BF insisted on putting the roof on my garden shed. I had bought some plastic sheeting that had “ripples” in it. Kinda like this: nnn. One sheet big enough to cover 3/4 of the shed with ripples running sideways so that rain ran horizontally. The other just the right size for the last part with ripples guiding the rain down and off the shed. “Be sure to lap the big part over the small part,” I told him. “I know what I’m doing,” he growled. He lapped it under the small part, thereby guiding rainfall (this is in Seattle) sideways to spill down into the shed instead of guiding it to where it would fall off of the roof.

Reader, I hired someone else to redo it and then I LET IT GO! 🙂

  4. I’m sure I’ve done some stupid guy things, being one, but I’ve tried to let those go. Among other things I will ask for directions.

  5. (hug)
