Day 4898: Worrying

I try to reduce my worrying (because worrying never helps), but there are so many worrying trends in my country.

I’m not worrying about providing any examples of these worrying trends, because I think they’re obvious.

Sometimes I’ll take a break from worrying about the USA and I’ll say to another worrying human, “This is not sustainable. Things have to get better.” The worrying person often reacts like they’re still worrying.

However, I’m glad to report that I am not worrying about my health, my music, my work, my family, my friends, my cats, traveling, aging, my appearance, or my images for today.

.

I’m not worrying whether anybody noticed that I shared this …

… on National Smile Day.

Here’s what I find when I search for “worrying” on YouTube.

.

Thanks to all who are here for this worrying post, including YOU!

  1. if you worry about worrying too much are you adding to your ‘worry load’?

This morning I read about the First Felon’s reaction to his name being taken off the Kennedy Center and all the musicians fleeing his National State Fair show and frankly I’m feeling a little sorry for the guy. I am, however, a little worried about what his reaction will be if/when the rally, starring himself, is not the triumph he seems to think it will be. He’s gonna feel like blowing something up.

  3. You had great hair on good hair day!

  4. This week I attended a conference of library support staff. There was a lot of discussion of AI (that included me playing your song for some librarians who loved it) but then I came up with this: “If you think AI is the solution then it’s because you see people as a problem.” And it worries me how well that sums up the push to use AI to replace people.

    • I was not worrying about the fact that streams for my song were suddenly way up and I’m grateful that you shared, Chris!

  5. worrying just makes you lose sleep! It also makes you ill! So don’t worry, be happy!
