At the end of a hectic Monday at the hospital, I was reminded to let it go on my walk home from the ferry.

.
All day, I had witnessed people let it go (where “it” was anxiety, worry, and stress) in therapy.
What helps me let it go includes nature, community, and music.
I hope you can let it go as you look at my other images for today.

.
If you’re annoyed with people, let it go because it’s National Love People Day.
Here’s what I find when I search for “let it go” on YouTube.

Thanks to all who help me let it go, including YOU!

I love ‘let it go.’
Me too!
Yay, @NotTony! Another Rocky Horror fan. LIPS!
I guess my biggest act of letting it go was when I moved here and told an ex that his (rather big) debt to me was forgiven. It was hard enough trying to get repayment out of him while in Seattle. I wasn’t going to spend the last years of my life trying to get it out of him from a couple thousand miles away. Oddly enough, he has managed to pay me another grand, but I haven’t heard from him in a while now so I suspect that’s over. Still, in the strangest of places at the strangest of times – and goddess knows these are strange times! 🙂
Strange indeed, Barbara.
I’m surprised there’s been no mention of Hedwig And The Angry Inch, a musical that’s very much about letting go. After a lifetime in search of her “other half” Hedwig finally accepts herself. I think there’s a lesson there that we only really start living when we accept ourselves.
Self acceptance is the best, my good friend.
A beautiful dog sharing a ferry ride would help me let it go, too, Ann.
Indeed, my friend.
